Levy 2003 Resume
Please Read
Brooks was allowed to move up to the 8-12 year old class a year early
making him the youngest driver in the field. The speeds in this
class are tremendous both off the corner with rib crushing G-Forces and
top speeds that would challenge any normal adult to consider what they
are doing out there? Night and day from the Karts Brooks ran
before. Brooks was granted admission into 2 series because he
turns 8 during the season between the first and last race. This
was close because he turns 8 on October 3rd making the cutoff by 2 weeks
before the last race. Being able to do this is still an exception
and is usually turned down by officials, but in this case, based on his
driving and resume, he was granted participation. This explanation
is important for sponsors and potential sponsors to know and understand
the disadvantage Brooks is in and how he responds. See heading
titled Machine to differentiate which kart he was running.
