     Heat 1-  Last to first in 10 laps but was running an illegal air filter that made him much faster than other drivers.  But, it was missed in Tech so we just had to change to a stock airfilter.  Heat 2- In the second heat Brooks started 8th and worked his way to the front passing the leader on lap 6 of 10 only to be spun out the next lap with lapped traffic.  Brook spent the next 2 laps running down OVKA's ACE (Kenton) again and passing him with 1 to go!  It wasn't over there, Kenton came right back with 1/2 to go and pulled up on Brooks' bumper on the last 2 turns but with a lapped car in the way coming out of the 2nd chicane, Brooks shot off the corner and missing the lapped car finished by a drag race to the checkered flag!  Close!  Feature- OVKA only draws for starting positions, Brooks was back in the rear again in 11th place-No Problem- Not kidding how this went down.   Brooks took the Green in 11th, missed an accident right in front of him in turn 1and made it through a 3 car crash and drag raced down the long back stretch into 4th place!   Not done yet, he took 3rd place with an outside pass in the turn the adults say that you can't pass in.  This put him in 3rd place where he tailed 1st & 2nd around until the last straight away where he drag raced literally 1st & 2nd, 3 wide, to the start finish line where Brooks crossed the finish line in 1st place!!!!!  No exaggerations, 11th to 1st in just one lap!   Everyone was shocked!  Brooks checked out and won by 3/4th a lap and was never again challenged.   After the race a professional race car driver came to us and had some great things to say about Brooks and he said he has the potential to go all the way in n racing in any league if he continues to work hard and drive like that!  Maybe? Maybe not?  But a nice statement to top off his best day driving ever!  He was, as MJ says- He Was In The Zone
