     Heat- This was his first time back on dirt since the end of the 2001 season.   It was like he was a different kid!  He won one dirt race last year but drove it like asphalt, this time like he drove like had been on dirt his whole life!  He pitched the car into the corners and rode the slide all the way till it pointed down the straights and then shot out of the corners and down the straights.  He never went to the inside like most other drivers, he kept it wide and in the loose stuff and was FAST!   He won both split heats and the Feature as well.  He really enjoyed it when the other 4 karts got on the track with his heat.  Brooks was the man that night sliding like a pro!
