Whiteland Raceway

     Heat- Brooks got a great start and pulled to second place just behind Zack but basically stayed there the whole race.  Zack was fast and Brooks had nothing for him.  Ran the entire heat race about 15-20 feet behind.

Feature- I made a couple adjustments and the kart came to life.  This time when they took the green Brooks could push Zack.  They ran 1st and 2nd for a while and then Zack spun out turning the lead over to Brooks.  Zack did a nice job to catch back up.  Brooks caught a lapped kart with 1 lap to go and Zack pulled up on Brooks' bumper.  As Brooks passed the lapped kart Zack tried to squeeze between them and tapped Brooks at a strange angle and around he went.  Unfortunately it caused Brooks to throw a chain putting him out of the race on the last lap.  I guess Zack is human after all!  Brooks and Zack are best friends and it was awesome seeing Zack push Brooks back to the pits afterwards.  Zack apologized and help him get his kart off the track and to the scale.  Zack is a class act!
