America becomes the first feeder series for Formula BMW USA
Miami, FL. October 16, 2003…BMW North America and
Easykart America are proud to announce their association to provide
a complete feeder series yet another step for aspiring young drivers
to progress from Karting to the first steps of professional open
wheel racing.
Pablo Montoya, father of Formula 1 Driver Juan Pablo Montoya and
President/CEO of Easykart America says, "Had an Easykart
America and Formula BMW USA program existed during the early stages
of my son's career, it would have eliminated many of the hardships
we went through, and would have facilitated the showcasing of his
natural talent"….We are very excited about the Formula BMW USA
program.

Easykart America and Formula BMW USA will offer a clear path for
driver as young as 8 years of age to progress through the ranks of
the Easykart 60cc, 100cc and 125cc Classes before graduating up to
the Formula BMW. " With this new feeder series, we are able to
provide spec classes for the youngest drivers to compete in equal
environment from Karting right up to open wheel racing." says

Formula
BMW USA will award its top Easykart America drivers in all eligible
classes with exclusive prizes and awards such as Formula BMW tests
in BMW Motorsport's facility in Valencia Spain, as well as valuable
scholarships which can be applied towards Formula BMW USA Series.
