Engines
& Fuel
|

Please make yourself familiar with
these rules, procedures, and repercussions for not meeting
requirements.

Engine
We have adopted a 1 engine rule
for the each weekend in the spirit of economics. We felt it
better to off-set some of the costs by making this 1
engine
rule eliminating pressure of feeling participants have to
come to the track with new, multiple, or fresh motors. This is not required and hope that others
will not feel the need to come with fresh and multiple
power plants to
each event. This in the big picture will cut costs
to go racing!
In the event a participant has a
motor problem, Carb, etc, that participant must fall to the
rear of the field for the next race. No Exceptions

Fuel
Participants may run
whatever fuel they wish for any race event weekend
providing their is no alcohol content. If you have
concerns have it checked in advance or have it tested at
the J1SS event. WKA's fuel test and requirements
will be used as they have a good handle on fuel
requirements.
On Saturday morning random tests
will be done and all participants testing positive will go
to the back but will only receive last place points for
that race. After that race participants may
change to a passing fuel and may start again in the
back for the next race. However if a participant
fails after the feature in post tech, that race counts as
a DQ and may not be dropped.
***Fuel
Treatments, additives, or Solvents
No preps, solvents, or fuel
aids of any kind may be used at a J1SS event. We
consider this a major offense and it will not be
tolerated. It is considered cheating as well as a
health hazard due to the chemicals hazards to other
participants. Anyone in violation 'will' be
reprimanded and/or dismissed from the series. These
kids lungs are still developing and we will do everything
in our power to protect the kids and their health even if
it means releasing violators from the series.
